What ages is Sprinklehorn for?

Sprinklehorn is for little ones and curious kids, up to about 8. The stories are simple enough for preschoolers to follow, with jokes and questions bigger kids enjoy too.

How long are the videos?

Most story episodes run 8 to 10 minutes. Ask Hoots shorts, where Hoots answers one big question, run 2 to 3 minutes.

When do new videos come out?

Every Thursday at 6:00 AM Mountain time, free on YouTube. Story episodes and Ask Hoots shorts take turns, and the episodes page shows what's coming next.

Is anything scary?

The stories are gentle: a birthday surprise, a first day of school, a giant worm costume on Halloween. Halloween is gently spooky, and when someone feels nervous, a friend or a grown-up is right there to help.

Is it calm or busy?

Calm and cozy: soft storybook colors, a warm score of glockenspiel, harp and strings, and stories that stay with one day and a few places, so little ones can follow along.

What does it teach?

It's story first. Kids see the friends being kind, curious and brave, and trying again when something goes wrong. Each Ask Hoots short answers one real question, like why leaves change color, with the science happening right on screen.

What are the think-along moments?

A couple of times an episode, a friend asks a question kids can answer out loud, like "Should our worm hop like a bunny, or wiggle like a worm?" Each episode's page lists them, to ask again on the couch.

Are there ads?

This website has no ads. The videos play on YouTube, where they're marked Made for Kids, so YouTube keeps comments off and never shows them personalized ads.

How is AI used?

We use AI tools to draw, animate and voice the episodes, to make the music and to help with the writing. A parent directs every story, real people check every episode before it's shared, and the science in Ask Hoots is checked against trusted sources.

Who makes Sprinklehorn?

Sprinklehorn LLC, a small family studio. It began as cartoons for our own kids, who still watch every episode first (and are very honest critics).

Does this website collect anything?

Nothing at all: no tracking, cookies, sign-ups or forms, and nothing loads from other companies. The Watch buttons open YouTube.
